More is Still Very Much More: 2018 Spring/Summer Jewelry Trends

Spring time is a time for awakening, so why not apply that to your jewelry box as well. Lucky for you, jewelry trends are seeing some major changes this year. Lets see what they have in store. These range from dainty necklaces, gold hoops with charms, to little studs. When it comes to bling, we may be sizing down in scale but we aren’t cutting back on the quantity. After all, we all believe in investing in pieces that we can get a lot of mileage out of and wear every day right?

Opal

Recently, there has been one little stone having a major moment in the jewelry world, and we couldn’t be more excited about it. Opals have been popping up in jewelry designers’ collections left and right, and fashion superstars have expressed their obsession with the gem as well. Whether the gemstone is a connection to your birth month, you’re into its “magical” powers, or you just want to help yourself to something shiny (ohhh sooo shinnnnnnnyyyyyy), opals have proven to be this year’s big Spring/Summer trend.

Choker Necklaces

Choker necklaces were present during the 1990’s in the form of black pendant choker and plastic tattoo chokers that were very common among girls. Those chokers come back again but in many different designs and materials. Chokers appeared at different fashion shows this year such as Chanel, Oscar de la Renta and Saint Laurent. We have a ton under Virgin Saints and Angels. Three of our iconic chokers.

Multilayered Necklaces

If you don’t like the idea of wearing statement necklaces and pendants because they don’t suit your personality, but still love those small pendants, no problem. You can wear those necklaces with small pendants but in multiple layers like TAI Jewelry’s Double Layered Drusy Necklace or Layered Cat’s Eye ‘Y’ Necklace. Multilayered necklaces are the jewelry trend you can opt for to enjoy your small pendants.
